About
Hello! All good? My name is Victor Cristo!
I'm an illustrator from Rio de Janeiro, born in the city of Nilópolis, and like, as every child, I've always loved to draw. For you to get an idea, when I was at school I loved to draw on the edges of chairs (everything was scribbled!! lol), and when my teacher found out she told me to clean up the entire notebook (wow! not our how boring!!). But I didn't give up on my dream.
When I got older I entered a drawing school to learn drawing techniques and make my dream come true. I even managed to participate in a manga series called Mangá Booken, it was beautiful, a dream come true, but as the pay wasn't great at the time, it made me a little discouraged and I went to work in offices, leaving me very frustrated. I went to college and everything, but the dream flame was still lit.
Until one day, after a long time working in the office, I was fired, and I saw as an opportunity to invest in my dream. So I started to invest in courses that gave me an initial idea of what it's like to work as an illustrator, which led to some good clients. Until I found an illustrator that I chose to be my mentor, Ivan Quirino, who taught me not only how to draw better, but also how to get clients and, above all, what it means to be an illustrator.
And today, that boy who used to draw on the edges of notebooks, today lives on art!!
What a joy!!
